I have been ready a lengthy time for The Dark Knight Rises Lego professionalduct or merchandise and this one didn't disappoint me. The value is extremely reasonable and the amount you get for the forty greenbacks is a lot more and significantly better high quality than I expected. The Tumbler is also smaller than the Tumbler set from 2008, however the car is extremely durable, simple to build, and simple to roll round. The Tumbler holds flick-fire missiles that pop up from behind the cockpit. They are coated with the aid of two flaps. The cockpit holds one minifigure.
The Bat is a lot better than it appeared to be on the field. The cockpit dangles two minifigures similar to in the movie and there are two separate palms that transfer independently in two locations.

As keen on the Nolan Batman trilogy, I ordered this set as quickly as it was launched. The Bat and the Tumbler are smaller in scale in comparison with the Dark Knight Tumbler, but I would not penalize Lego for that (if the autos had been to scale with the 2008 set, this set would most certainly value $80-$100). Let me go over the professionals and cons of this set:
Pros:
*The Bat is slightly accurate with guns, missiles, propellors, two seats, and tow cable
*The Tumbler has a velocity booster and missiles
*Vehicles are to scale with each and every different (unlike the 2008 set the place the Tumbler was big and Joker's truck was once small)
*Bane and Commissioner Gordon are movie correct
Cons:
*Batman wore black, now not gray in the movie
*Commissioner Gordon comes with an unrealistic two-barreled gun
Overall, the skilleds stand out and the cons are minor. I am very satisfied.

First and choicest, this set is a superb build. I love that the 'Bat' is one guideline booklet and the 'Tumbler' is a seperate booklet. Absolutly good for my two sons on a Saurday morning. They had been so extreme building their car and it gave them a sense of possession as quickly as the builds were complete. They are still fighting as of late with this set. I am an AFOL (Adult Fan Of Lego) and have lots of Legos for them to build and analyze with. My love lies with the minifigures. This set does not disappoint. For $40 I received three minifigs (and I must say..."AWESOME Minifigs") which I do not need in my extensive assortment of all factors Lego people; in addition to an ideal situation build for my boys. Yes, this set is $40 for three68 pieces...a bit over the .10 cent/pc Lego moderate. The Tumbler is smaller than the one in a approach more expensive set from a couple of 12 monthss ago, but it's in scale to the dimensions of the Bat, and has nice play value for the supposed age workforce of this set. Therefore, I really feel this set hits the mark for both AFOLs and youngsters alike.
