MINIFIGS:
Arctic Batman: While I choose my Batman in hellos classic go properly with(s), I love that LEGO have given us a variant version as a substitute of just another replica of the Batman figures to be had in prior units. I hope they do that with upcoming Spider-Man units, too, as he has a lot of priceume variations.
Mr. Freeze: I was once ready for this villain, and he would not disappoint! Though I would have most popular a double-sided head with his basic purple goggles, I love the again tank piece with face shield and the gun is appropriately menacing.
Aquaman: This is the enormous shock in the set. Though he is now not imprecise to comic fans, he is now not one of the vital giant A-list heroes either. I love that we get him in this set and he appears to be like superior, with a double-sided head and hellos traditional uniform.

Since this set does maintain water and freezing temps, the batboat does reasonably neatly as a floating ship in the tub! SO so much enjoyable - Aquaman has had quite the number of adventures already, despite the fact that hellos haircut I think makes hellom look like the real Aquaman's teenage son! Batman's swimsuit is white and gray in this set - pretty cool too. His cape looks as if a little "ghostie" when now not hooked up - there could be some additional fun there! Haunted Mr. Freeze base.... However, should you get it moist, it gets a bit "crunchie" when it dries so make sure you take off the cape earlier or dry it instantly in a towel.
The Batboat has slightly a quantity of bombs too and of course, the hearth out the back. Bats can fit into the cockpit, arms up with hellos swords in hand, and you can nonetheless shut the lid. SO cool...
Anyway, the minifigures on my own are value the cost of the set, with Mr. Freeze the primary grab with that nasty taking a look freeze-ray gun. This is a lovely good set for the price. LEGOs are pretty expensive of late, and to get some really obscure minifig you end up spending a tight quantity. But this set goes against that which is good. For what must be $20, you get 3 new minfigs, that aren't present in any different sets. That's always a bonus. I exactly have a complete bunch of usual Batmans from the older units all of the related. Here we get a model new one. Mr. Freeze is no lengthyer bad. I am more or less torn about this one and the older sets from just a few yrs in the past.
The excessivelight for me is Aquaman. He is an easy minifig, but he's deceptively cool. I like his determine a lot higher than the Wonder Woman and Supman minfigs that came out already. I am hoping they preserve fleshing out the Justice League in future unencumbers. We nonetheless want the Flash, Green Lantern (not that Ryan Reynolds one) and relying if we're dealing with the New fifty two or no longer, either Cyborg or Martian Manhunter.
I did not even talk about the boat yet. It's o.k.. I preferred the hovercraft from the earlier sequence better, for Batman's aquatic vehicle. It does have a neat function. The option to shoot out the circular disks is pretty creative and the excessive point on the boat for me. I more or less wish there was oncen't as much yellow on it.
